*STIIX Starter Bin ($25) is required for first time STIIX users. Once Starter Bin is good for unlimited STIIX projects*
Students will apply concepts of physics, impact force reduction, and structural design to create a protective case capable of keeping an egg or included easter egg intact during a high fall.
Set in the resilient town of STIIX-Ville, students are challenged to engineer a supply crate that can be safely airdropped into flooded areas during an emergency. Through this real-world simulation, students will explore gravity, shock absorption, and creative problem-solving while documenting their design process and evaluating the results of theirdrop tests.
Although this specific project is not on there, check out our optional Augmented Reality app, STIIX-Ville. In it, students can bring concepts & careers to life for 6 other of our other STIIX projects.️
