The Intro to Esports course is designed to introduce students to esports. Throughout the course, students will produce digital and technology artifacts to lead to the hosting of an esports event at their high school.
This curriculum can be taught and implemented as an introduction to technology course, multimedia coursework, or as part of a local or school esports club. In this course, students will gain the following skills:
- Digital Media Design
- Human Nutrition & Health
- Streaming & Shoutcasting
- Video & Audio Production
- Business Development
- Event Management
Gaming PCs are not required to teach this course, however, it is highly recommended to possess the hardware and network requirements to run modern esports games.
