Can You Turn A Jug Into An Instrument?

Can you turn a jug into an instrument? Our STEM Challenge is a great way to invite students to practice researching and using their imagination, in a way that will get them excited to want to play music!

For this challenge, students will use a jug or plastic bottle to create an instrument!

Are you up for the challenge? What type of instrument can you create, and/or how many can you create?

What you need:

• Any type of plastic bottles
• Scissors

Possible items to use:

• String
• Buttons
• Beans 
• Tape
• Glue

What you need to do…

• Students will plan out what instrument they want to create
• Use scissors and other materials to create the instrument 
• Enjoy making music
