Can You Build A Cranberry Structure?

The holidays are right around the corner. Which is the perfect time to bring some fun to your space!

Have you started to see the cranberries in your supermarkets? Last week, we saw the giant section for cranberries and had to grab a bag and turn them into a fun, easy STEM challenge!

Are you up for the challenge? Go grab a bag of cranberries and a box of toothpicks and let's build structures.

• Fresh Cranberries 
• Toothpicks

What you need to do...

• Start by giving students the cranberries and toothpicks. 
• This challenge can be super simple and you can simply let students build. 
• Or you could make it a bit harder and create a jar of ideas written on cards and have students draw a card and build whatever is written. 
• Here are some ideas: 
• Houses 
• Letters 
• Shapes 
• People 
• Places 
• Towers
