Educator Package of 10, 20, or 30
Sets of CoDrone Minis in increments of 10, 20, or 30—with the bells and whistles. Extra batteries, chargers, and 4 hrs of professional development. It's a great set for first-timers who are learning about coding drones for the first time.
Programming languages: Blockly and Python
What you'll learn: Drones, flight, sensors, LEDs, block coding, text-coding
The CoDrone Mini is our miniature drone, meant to be a great introduction to coding. Start at the basic level, with block-based coding using Blockly, and move on to advanced-level topics in Python, such as plotting sensor data or how a gyrometer works.
Comes in a set of 10, 20, and 30 individual CoDrone Mini kits.
4 Hours of Professional Development Included
Hour 1 & 2:
We'll help you get everything you need to hit the ground running on day 1. First we walk you through where to find the tutorials for students, lesson plans for teachers. Then, we go through each item in the box. We will walk through the controls, and actually fly the drone together so you know how to take off, land, and emergency stop. We go through safety, maintenance, cable management, and power management. Lastly, we'll walk through installation for each of the coding platforms: Blockly and Python in PyCharm.
Hour 3: We will go through classroom management techniques, and actually practice this with a lesson
Hour 4: We will deep drive through 1-2 actual lessons, using all techniques covered above
*This is a general outline. Our training can be heavily tailored based on your needs.
